Thank you all for your continued dedication to this case. At this point I am excited to say that the mysterious disappearance of Genevieve Tillbrook has been solved. A big thank you to Katy Boyd for putting together the final pieces that ultimately helped crack this case.
I will share more information about what happened in the coming days.

Who is Heidi?
I am still trying to figure out who exactly Heidi is and what her relation to this case is. She seems to be a friend of the family and someone that Genevieve trusted. Perhaps Heidi holds more answers.
In an effort to bring more clarity to this case, I have gone back through all of the documents that have been uncovered. I am looking for any sort of pattern or any clues we may have over looked. I feel like there is a lot of information out there. It's just a matter of putting together all of the pieces.

- First there were the three password protected documents that were cracked.
- The first was a diary entry written by Genevieve making a direct reference to the necklace that started this whole search
- The second was a newspaper article about a business merger between the fathers of Genevieve and Charles
- The third was fire arm bill of sale indicating that Charles had purchased a gun
- Next was the postcard from Genevieve to her mother proclaiming her unhappiness
- The sections of the seal eventually formed a full picture with a hidden web address revealing an unused plane in Genevieve's name from New York to Paris dated two weeks after Genevieve's disaperance
- There was then an article about Genevieve speaking to a group of young school children and an associated video with a bunch of weird numbers
- Next was a map of Trinity's campus with different parking lots circled
- There was the deposit slip that showed that Genevieve had deposited $15,000 to a bank in Moulton, TX
- There was what appeared to be a piece of a newspaper article that surfaced
- And most recently we have the letters between Genevieve's mom and Heidi
- Genevieve, unhappy in her marriage, ran away, perhaps on her own accord or perhaps with the aid of someone else
- Charles, after finding out about his wife's unhappiness, snapped and killed her
- Genevieve's father killed her and covered it up in an effort to protect his business venture with Charles's father

Letters
While taking a break from analyzing the deposit slip, I uncovered some interesting letters. They appear to be a brief correspondence between Genevieve's mother and a family friend. At this point, I don't know the extent of the relationship with this person or their involvement, if any, in this case. The letters do seem to indicate, however, that Genevieve wasn't exactly keeping her unhappiness a secret, although her mother was trying to do so. In reference to Genevieve's unhappiness in her marriage, her mother says "we are doing everything we can to take care of it." Somewhat of an ominous statement. Who is "we" and to what extent did they "take care of it?" Take a look at the letters yourself below:

More to the deposit slip
I have been trying make sense of the deposit slip for the past week now. I tried tracing the money to see where it came from but had no luck. Why did Genevieve go to Moulton, Texas to deposit this money? I think there are more answers to uncover in this deposit slip. I am going to keep focusing my attention on this 10 digit account number and see if it leads me anywhere.

Deposit Slip
On my continued quest for evidence I came across this:
It appears to be a deposit slip filled out in Genevieve's name for the amount of $15,000. The money was deposited just two days before Genevieve's disappearance. I found the slip in an envelope marked Bank of Moulton. I looked up Moulton, and found out it is a small town about 100 miles east of San Antonio. Why would Genevieve have gone all the way to Moulton to deposit a check? Was she doing it secretly? Where did this large sum of money come from? Was she using it to run away? I continue to strongly believe that Genevieve may have had the ultimate role in her own disappearance; however, a part of me still believes there were other people at play. I still can't explain her husband's role in her disappearance and am not convinced that her father's business merger might not have influenced him in some way.
I am also still working on this map. Some of you pointed out that the marked locations are parking lots. Does anyone know they significance of those lots? I can't seem to find any.

Map
I was looking through some old evidence files when I came across an interesting map. It seems to be a modern map of Trinity's campus. I am not sure how a modern map made its way into an evidence file, but it seems to have some directions on it, so I was intrigued. Does anyone know the significance of the circled locations on the map?

Zoom In
I received an incredibly useful tip from someone. Upon zooming in on the second piece of the seal, this was uncovered. It seems to be a continuation of the web address on the first piece. I have a feeling there is more to the web address but can't seem to put all of the pieces together.
Also, did anyone else see a strange string of numbers when they played the video I posted? I hadn't noticed those initially and am wondering if it is just an issue with the video player on my computer.

Making sense of the seal
I have been working for days but still can't make any sense of what this picture of the seal means. I have put all three pieces together:
The first piece had the beginning of a web address. What does that mean? As a couple of you pointed out, the third piece (which contained the majority of the seal), was missing the school motto, "E Tribus Unum."
E Tribus Unum means "from three, one." Perhaps this is why three pieces of an image were sent to me. From these three pieces, one cohesive image was created. This leads me to believe there is something to this seal. The first piece had the partial web address; the third piece was missing the motto. Perhaps there is something I am missing in the second piece that will tie all of this together. I have been studying the second piece for days, but haven't come up with anything. I am convinced there is something there though.
Although I continue to struggle to make meaning of the seal, I did uncover another article about Genevieve in which she spoke to local school children about traveling and following your dreams. This just further paints an image of Genevieve as an adventurous young woman who was not ready to be tied down by marriage. Does this have any baring on her disappearance? I have linked to the article below.

In a few moments of free time, I also came across this song. For some reason it reminds me of Genevieve. I just thought I would share it with all of you.
As always, keep me posted on any of your findings, and I will so the same.

The missing piece
Another morning, another envelope- this time with a note that said "she is not the only thing that is missing." I still am perplexed and a little spooked by all of this. This image seems to complete the picture though. Is this the Trinity University seal? I am unfamiliar with it.
Some of you very astutely pointed out that this picture is very similar to the stamp on the postcard I sent to you. It seems obvious now, but I has missed that connection. I wonder if these two items are related somehow. I was able to enhance the stamp from the post card.
It appears to just be a postage stamp. Is this coincidence or is there more to this? Hoping to connect the dots.

Second Piece of the Picture
I received another unmarked envelope this morning with another piece of a picture. This time there was a note that said "The answer is right in front of you. All you have to do is look." The answer to what? What am I looking for? Is someone playing a joke on me? Do you know what this image is and what it means? Hoping for answers.

Forum
Based on suggestions from some of you, I have created a forum so that
we can discuss things pertaining to the case and share any pertinent
information. I have sent invitations for the forum to several of you. If you did not get an invite but wish to be added to the forum, please send me your e-mail address and I will invite you. Please feel free to post as you wish. My one request is
that all topics focus on the investigation.
I am still perplexed by the picture I received in the mail. Clearly there is the beginning of a web address, but where is the rest? I am hopeful that more information will follow soon.

Strange Picture
Seems as if I am not the only one sending mail. I received an
envelope with no return address in the mail this morning. I’m uncertain why
someone sent this to me. I wonder if my search for what happened with Genevieve
has attracted more attention than I thought it would.
Inside the envelope was a slip of
paper and a picture. I scanned the photo and uploaded it here. The paper merely
said, “Take care, Jay.” I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little creeped out by
this. It does add fire to my suspicions that maybe there’s more to Genevieve's
disappearance.
The picture looks incomplete. I’m
not sure if this is a clue or what. I am hoping that this person will send more soon.

Documents Opened
Thank you to all of you for your help and e-mails. I can now say the second two passwords have been solved. I was on the right track but don't think I ever would have gotten all the way there by myself.
The password for document 2 was 200604190621. Apparently it was solved by adding one to the numeric value of each number. So instead of 19, s became 20; e became 06 instead of 05 and so on.
The password for document 3 was eqfg. The same principle from above was applied, but instead of being one number off, it was two numbers off. So instead of c, 03 became e; 15 became q instead of o and so on. Pretty clever little way to disguise passwords but still be able to remember them.
I am intrigued and confused by these three documents. To recap:
Document 1: A diary entry from Genevieve that makes direct reference to the necklace and reveals her feeling of entrapment in her marriage to Charles.
Document 2: A newspaper article detailing the merger of the Pennington and Tillbrook businesses
Document 3: A fire arms bill of sale in which Charles (Genevieve's husband) was the purchaser of a gun.
A lot to digest. Did Charles find out about his wife's unhappiness and look to take matters into his own hands? Why else would he have bought a gun? Perhaps Genevieve finally gained the courage to leave Charles and something went awry. What does the business merger have to do with any of this? Maybe the merger was contingent upon Genevieve staying with Charles. Are the father's at play here?
I am certainly starting to form some theories, but I want to be careful not to speculate too much. I guess I will have to wait and see what other information is uncovered.
I placed some items in the mail earlier today. I hope they will reach you soon. Keep your eyes on your mailbox. If you haven't done so already, please send me your name and campus mailbox number, and I will send you a piece of evidence that I have.
Thank you again for all of your help and your interest in finding Genevieve. I feel like we are making progress in this case, even if it is slow. I have a feeling the story will start to make more sense soon.
Keep checking back on the blog for more updates.

Still working on the passwords
Has anyone had any luck with the second two passwords? I can't seem to figure them out. The password for Document 1 was solved by applying a numeric value to each letter based on its position in the alphabet. So 03 became "c," 18 became "r," 01 became "a," and so on until it spelled "cracked." I am wondering if some variation of this same pattern applies to the second two passwords. Perhaps it doesn't match up quite as neatly though. I am going to keep working at it. Please let me know if you figure it out. After seeing the first document, I am anxious to see what these other two documents contain.
In the meantime, I have found another piece of evidence that I would like to share with you. It is too difficult for me to post it on the blog, but if you e-mail me at whereisgt@gmail.com with your name and campus mail box number, I will send it to you.
The details of this case are still pretty hazy. I am hoping that things will start to become more clear soon.

Password Cracked
Wow! I am impressed by how quickly so many of you cracked the password. I'm not sure how I didn't see that myself. Thank you for all of your e-mails. I am sorry I did not have time to respond to all of them individually.
The diary entry is certainly intriguing and telling. It seems like Genevieve was not entirely happy in her marriage. Was this an isolated feeling or something more? I am not quite sure what to make of it at this point.
I have found the second two documents. I tried to apply the same pattern for those passwords but didn't have any luck. Is there something I am missing? Let me know if you can figure it out.

New Document
I am very impressed by the interest expressed in this case
from Trinity students. Many of them have
a lot of great questions that I am simply unable to answer at this time. I too have struggled to find any information
through basic Google searches, but I still think there is information to dig
up. In fact, it looks like I’m not the
only one who has tried to uncover more information about Genevieve. I, rather accidentally, came across a file
from about 10 years ago that contains what I think will be useful evidence in
the Genevieve case. Unfortunately the
file is password protected. I attempted
to track down the original author of this document only to discover that he had
passed away. I was, however, able to
speak with his wife. Turns out this
gentleman was a retired police officer who became intrigued by the Genevieve
case and started to do some casual investigating in his free time. Less than a month into his investigation, he
died suddenly from a heart attack. His
wife was hopeful that someday someone would finish the work her husband had
started. He would have wanted to know
all the answers she said. As such, she was
kind enough to give me a little sticky note that she had found among her
husband’s belongings labeled “Genevieve Passwords.” She was unsure why she had held onto this
little scrap of paper for nearly 10 years, but something just told her that she
should. And I am so grateful that she
did. Unfortunately, none of the
passwords on the sheet unlocked the document.
I know these passwords mean something.
I just can’t seem to figure it out.
I need your help. This is what it
said on the sheet:
Genevieve Passwords
Document 1: 03180103110504
Document 2: secret
Document 3: 03150405
There were passwords for three documents on the sticky
note. I have only come across one
document so far and have linked to it below.
I am hoping I can find the other two documents and figure out the
passwords. Can you figure out the
password? If so, please e-mail me at whereisgt@gmail.com. I greatly appreciate you help.

A call for help- Where is Genevieve?
My name is name is Jay Chambers, and I am an investigative
reporter from San Antonio, TX. I
recently caught wind of an interesting finding on Trinity University’s campus
in which a necklace valued at $267,000 was uncovered during construction on one
of the residence halls (see the
article here). As it turns out, this
necklace is tied to an unsolved missing persons case from the 1950s involving a
reclusive heiress named Genevieve Tillbrook.
SAPD has said that they do not plan to reopen this case; however, as an
investigative reporter, I felt inclined to do some research of my own. Although my initial search didn’t produce
much, I have recently come across some documents that are pretty eye opening
and lead me to believe that this might be more than a simple missing persons
case. I truly believe there is a complex
and compelling story to be told here, and I am going to uncover every piece of
it. I have a strong feeling that there
is more evidence in this case scattered around the Trinity campus. As such, I have called upon the Trinity
community to help me investigate the mysterious disappearance of Genevieve
Tillbrook. Together, we will find out
what happened to Genevieve. I have even
been given $500 by the estate of Charles Pennington (the husband of Genevieve)
to reward to a group that ultimately solves this case.
Please check back on the blog regularly as I will be posting
about my findings. I have also created a
website (http://sites.google.com/site/whereisgenevieve/)
that will serve as a central location for all articles and documents pertaining
to the case. I encourage everyone to be
vigilant and inquisitive. Please send
any tips or information to whereisgt@gmail.com.
Together we can find out what happened to Genevieve.
